Open Water Scuba Diver Course:
Confined Water
This is the first class in your scuba diver training. The class consists of a blend of online training, either virtual or in person classroom time, and pool work. Students are required to complete a medical waiver and general liability form prior to starting the class.
Time required to complete:
Online Training: 16-20 hours of computer work Virtual Classroom: 4-8 hours
Pool work: 10+ hours
Students are required to have a scuba diving quality mask, scuba diving quality fins (open heel), booties, and a roll up/bendy snorkel.
Included in course fee: online training material, rental gear for pool (regulator, tank, bcd, wetsuit).

Open Water Scuba Diver Course:
Checkout Dives
This is when we finally get out either into the lake, the ocean, or quarry and swim with the fish. The course will take part over two days with dives 1 and 2 being completed on Day One. Dives 3 and 4 completed on Day Two.
*Enhanced Class includes 6 additional dives over a minimum of 2 additional days (Does not include travel time).
Time required to complete:
Day One: 3-4 hours
Day Two: 3-4 hours
If students are open water referrals from another instructor, then the student is required to complete a medical waiver and general liability form prior to the first dive. *Students are required to complete a minimum of four dives to earn their certification as an Open Water Scuba Diver. *Students are required to bring their own gear including rental gear. Students must have TWO FULL scuba tanks for each day. *Course fee INCLUDES cost of the quarry, park admission, charter boat, etc. Students should bring food and water due to the length of day.
Included in course fee: certification card if successfully completed the course.
Course Fee: $400.
Enhanced Fee: $600
Advanced Open Water Course
Additional training means an increase in confidence. The AOW certification course consists of six dives including a night dive, a deep dive, a navigation dive plus two additional specialty dives. This is a fun class because it introduces the diver to a variety of different dive conditions.
Students have an option to participle in a premier version of this class includes 5 additional dives. Students receive additional training in each of the core specialities.
Time required to complete:
Online Training: 5-15 hours of computer work Virtual Classroom: 2 hours
Open Water is 6 dives over multiple days. *Enhanced option is 10 dives over multiple days.
Students are required to provide their own gear including scuba tanks. Students must have additional gear to meet the conditions and requirements of the class such as a compass and a dive light. Course fee includes quarry, park admission, and charter boat fee.

Enriched Air Nitrox
Diving nitrox blends is not only safe, in many areas it is the gas of choice. In my opinion every diver should be certified and diving nitrox in almost every recreational dive setting. Students are required to complete a medical waiver and general liability form prior to starting the class. Students will need to provide proof of minimum certification as an open water diver.
Time required to complete:
Online Training: 15-18 hours of computer work
Virtual Classroom: 2-4 hours
In person practical work: 1-3 hours
Students are not required to have any additional equipment for this class. If students have a dive computer they will learn to set it appropriately to dive nitrox.

Specialty Course
There are a wide variety of specialty courses that you can take that provide additional training in a different environments. Divers can take a deep diving specialty, a night diver specialty, dry suit diver, underwater archaeology, underwater naturalist, wreck diver, etc etc. If you have a topside interest that you want to explore below the surface just ask me and we will see if there is a course to meet your needs.

Master Diver or Dive Master Course
Although the name of the courses seem similar they take you on two separate paths. Master Diver is the final non-professional course that is a culmination in all the hard work that a recreational diver has put into becoming an experienced diver. The Diver Master course is the first step into the professional scuba diving life.
If you are interested in either courses let’s sit down and talk. I require a six month commitment for both classes. Master Dive requires a minimum of 30 additional dives with me in a variety ofenvironments. Dive Master requires a minimum of 50 additional dives with me in a variety of environments, participation in a minimum of 10 confined and open water classes and 25 hours interning either in a dive shop or on a dive charter.

Dive Guide
Sometimes you just want to look at the fish and not worry about navigating the reef. Or maybe you are a new diver and want to build your confidence and experience with a few guided dives.
Cost: $75 for two guided dives for a single diver (Charter or quarry admission extra)
$35 for each additional diver up to a maximum of 6 in a group.
